GRADE SCHOOL

Overview

As students enter grade school, they take on many new responsibilities – spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally. They are naturally curious, playful and as excited to learn as we are excited to teach!

Our St. Anthony Grade School curriculum is carefully crafted to address each student’s ability and learning. Small class sizes allow for strong teacher engagement and support, properly preparing each student for transition into the next level of education and life.

Founded in 1873, St. Anthony Grade School is a Catholic Parish co-educational school offering a Kindergarten to Fifth Grade education. The school is licensed by the State of Hawai‘i and accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association and the Western Association of Schools.

Educational

Educational programs are held to high standards and foster strong motivation, effective discipline and an atmosphere of caring. While providing a stimulating and progressive education, St.Anthony Grade School emphasizes personal learning and growth for each student. This commitment is reinforced by small class sizes and a family environment.

Family and Community

We recognize the parents and family as primary educators and join with them in fostering their child’s faith formation and sacramental preparation. Every child is placed in a safe environment that illustrates sharing and concern for others.

Co-Curricular Activities

We are committed to developing the whole student throughout their education at St. Anthony. Co-curricular activities are regarded as an integral part of their experience. A variety of choices are offered to reflect the uniqueness of each student and generate a healthy sense of competition, create cooperative spirit and foster leadership.
