NHS Scholarship
NHS student members who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the NHS Scholarship this year: high school senior, an active NHS member in good standing , currently enrolled at a school with an affiliated NHS chapter, graduating in spring of 2021, planning to enroll at a post-secondary college or university in fall 2021 NHS student membership must be verified by an active NHS adviser at an affiliated NHS chapter (school). Verification occurs online. Deadline: December 1st, 2020 at 5:00pm E.T.
 
>Pettable Pet Lovers Scholarship
Eligible to applicants who have had a meaningful relationship with a pet. Must be a US Citizen or permanent legal resident. Scholarship award is $1,000 every quarter. Due Date: December 15th, 2020 
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Candidates must demonstrate at school, the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship. Minimum 3.0 gpa average/4.0 scale or equivalent. Be a U.S. citizen and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 4yr college or university in the U.S. for the entire 2021-2022 academic year.  Due Date: January 5th, 2021 (11AM HST) or until 25,000 applications are submitted
 
Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholars Program
Awards range from $2500-$20,000 multi-year scholarships. The awards focus on students who are low income or the first in their family to attend college and representative of the APIA community’s diversity and who focus on helping the community. Due Date: January 14th, 2021 (11AM HST)
 

Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawai’i

Applicants must be a Hawai’i resident, at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (through the 1st semester of 2020) and must be accepted to a four-year college or university. Due Date: February 26th, 2021 (Postmarked)

G70 Foundation Scholarship + Internship Program
This is a multi-year scholarship + internship hosted by the G70 Foundation. The award is open to Hawaii high school seniors who will graduate in 2021 and majoring in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or Planning. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $10,000. This scholarship is managed by ScholarsApp so please create an account.  Due Date: April 1st, 2021

→ Maui Sons and Daughters of the Nisei Veterans Scholarship Program

$1,000 scholarships for seniors who plan to pursue a college or university education upon graduation. Please see me for an application. Due date to apply is: March 13, 2020.

→ All Pono Scholarship

Available to Maui County seniors with a gpa of at least 2.8. The organization will award 1 female, 1 male, and 1 athlete scholarship. → Realtors Association of Maui Presidential Scholarship

College Scholarship Deadlines

Attention Seniors – Upcoming Deadlines!

HMSA Kaimana Scholarship

HMSA Kaimana Scholarship rewards seniors who not only excel academically and athletically but also in their communities through volunteer work. They award $5,000 scholarships to 15 students. The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, and have participated in at least one sport in the MIL during high school. They must write a brief essay on their high school experience and plans post-graduation, submit 2 letters of recommendation from school faculty with their application, and submit an official transcript signed by an authorized school faculty. 

Due date to apply: February 7, 2020 at 4 p.m.

→ Fukunaga Scholarship

$5,000 annual scholarship ($20,000 total over 4 yrs) awarded to selected high school students who meet the requirements of a minimum 3.0 gpa, intent to pursue Business and attend a four-year university. www.fukunagascholarship.com

→ Josh and Souk Jerman Foundation Scholarship

Open to Maui County seniors who will be enrolling full-time at an accredited 4-year college. The award is a $1,000 scholarship. You can apply through Scholars App: https://scholarsapp.com/scholarship/josh-and-souk-jerman-foundation-scholarship.  Due date to apply is: February 21, 2020.

→ Filipino League Scholarship

$2,000 scholarship for Hawai’i high school seniors of Filipino Ancestry who have a 3.7 GPA or higher, and plan on enrolling full-time at a college in Hawai’i. https://scholarsapp.com/scholarship/filipino-womens-league/

→ Gift of Aloha

You must be a senior with a GPA between 3.0-4.0, with the intent to pursue higher education or training relevant to future employment. They will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship based on their GPA, standardized test scores, resume, and reflective response.
