diana warren

Diana has lived on Maui for 20 years.  She joined St. Anthony School just this past Fall 2018 bringing with her many years of experience in technology and STEM education.  Although she has been an educator for 22 years, it hasn’t all been in a traditional classroom.

Diana developed a curriculum on renewable energy called Island Energy Inquiry and trained teachers statewide on its use.  Prior to that, she developed and ran the Maui Digital Bus, a mobile science and technology program for K12 schools.  Diana has worked at MEDB with the Women in Technology Project, she was a DOE Maui District STEM Resource Teacher, and started her own non-profit organization – Learning Endeavors.

Her educational background includes a B.A. in Human Ecology, a Masters of Science in Education, and a secondary science teaching certificate.  Her role here at St. Anthony is as the Instructional Technology Coordinator. Diana established St. Anthony School’s Annual Hour of Code Celebration and provides ongoing professional development and support for faculty technology integration.

Diana lives in Wailuku with her husband, two children, two cats, one fish, and a tortoise.  She loves ocean swimming, surfing, hiking, and singing.

"I’m thankful for the sense of community and cultural blending that was part of St. Anthony. Only after going to the mainland, did I appreciate how fortunate I was to have grown up in this setting."
