Anita grew up on Oahu and graduated from Star of the Sea Catholic High School in Kahala. She has twenty-eight years’ experience in education and has taught elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. She joined St. Anthony School in 2015. Anita received a master’s degree from Chaminade in secondary education and a master’s degree from Tiffin University in English. 

Anita Lives in Kahului with her husband, children, and a dog named Bear. She enjoys watching movies, reading classical literature, and shopping. Anita loves to travel and recently went to Europe for the first time this last summer. Anita and her husband, Shaun, are the author of a book titled Surviving in a Blended Family: What the Brady Bunch Never Told You. 

"I’m thankful for the sense of community and cultural blending that was part of St. Anthony. Only after going to the mainland, did I appreciate how fortunate I was to have grown up in this setting."
