Carol Dorland

Third Grade Teacher

My name is Carol Dorland, and I have the best job in the world because I get to help students read and love books as well as learn about God and our faith! I have 28 years of teaching experience. I moved from Minnesota to Maui 4 years ago with my family. I have my husband, my son, 3 girls, 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 4 chickens, and some goldfish. In my spare time I love to read, crochet, SUP, kayak, and sit by a campfire at night and watch the stars. I also foster cats and kittens with the MHS. I feel very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community of faith and education.

"I’m thankful for the sense of community and cultural blending that was part of St. Anthony. Only after going to the mainland, did I appreciate how fortunate I was to have grown up in this setting."
