Ann Sugrue

High School Mathematics

Ann currently teaches Geometry, Algebra II, Pre Calculus and Calculus at St. Anthony School.  She has been teaching for 15 years, ten of those at St. Anthony.  Ann holds multiple degrees, including a BS in Math Education, an MA in Counseling, and MA in InterCultural Studies, and an MA in Educational Instruction.

Ann is a world traveler, having visited 68 countries and circled the globe five times.  Most of this travel was during ten years of missionary work.  

Ann lives in Kihei with her dog, Landry, and when she is not teaching at St. Anthony, she enjoys travelling to the Middle East to do trauma related counseling and missionary work.  She is the youngest of 9 siblings and is originally from New York.

"I’m thankful for the sense of community and cultural blending that was part of St. Anthony. Only after going to the mainland, did I appreciate how fortunate I was to have grown up in this setting."
