Message from the Head of School

E Komo mai!

Mahalo for visiting the St. Anthony School website. St. Anthony’s is a thriving, vibrant school community serving students from early childhood to high school.  The school’s rich deep history dates back to its founding in the 1840s. The St. Anthony’s community is not only our school, but our parish, our alumni, and our extended ‘ohana – supporters both locally and beyond.

St. Anthony’s ‘ohana – family – welcomes all.  Our vision is for St. Anthony’s School to remain a top school of choice where our students reach their full potential and make a positive, meaningful contribution to our campus, our community, and our world. We strive for each student here to feel connected, grow, and flourish at our school.  The support and sense of ‘ohana particularly characterizes our programming.

As a Catholic, Marianist-sponsored school, we embrace the characteristics of Marianist education: to educate our students for formation of faith, to provide an integral, quality education, to educate in family spirit, to educate for service, justice and peace, and to educate for adaptation and change.  This approach supports our students’ development of 21st century skills, and we review and enhance our program offerings to provide what our students need to be their individual best for the world.  To that end, I hope you will find the information on this website helpful in understanding how St. Anthony School provides immense value in the outcomes for our students.  We believe that those who graduate from here go out and make a difference in the world.

Please call, email or stop by our campus if you have any questions, need clarification or additional information or simply want to “talk story” about the past, present or future of our Catholic, Marianist-sponsored school programs. We look forward to sharing the story of St. Anthony’s!

God bless,

David Kenney

Head of School

"I’m thankful for the sense of community and cultural blending that was part of St. Anthony. Only after going to the mainland, did I appreciate how fortunate I was to have grown up in this setting."
