TAM
Teaching As Ministry has been a concept of the Marianist that helps us identify with our catholic heritage as we discover teaching as a ministry to our students. Providing an education for our students is part of the main goal but seeing our self as a minister of knowledge through the Marianist Philosophy has enhanced the growth of our faculty, staff, and administrators. Learning more about our founder and his charisma has helped us understand our vocation as teachers within a catholic school. All Marianist schools and affiliated schools meet twice for TAM. They meet in Dayton, Ohio as one of the programs provided during the MEC, Marianist Education Consortium. The schools also meet in early November in St. Louis, Missouri. TAM has provided tools and resources for teachers who teach in the Marianist tradition.
