Middle School

Middle School Overview

Middle School (grades 6 – 8) is a crucially important transitional time in children’s lives. This is the crossing over from child to young adult, and their fresh minds can really start to grasp complex ideas, self-autonomy and responsibility.

We feel privileged to offer guidance during this transition, and to help students broaden their vision of life and what they are capable of achieving. The academic environment at SAS encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and respect for others opinions. Classrooms are centered in the core principle of tolerance and understanding, students feel comfortable to express their ideas and investigate subjects until a satisfactory answer is found.

SAS has a competitive 21st Century curriculum that utilizes advanced equipment and techniques in subjects like science, math and technology. Our staff has a global awareness and is adaptive  in their thinking and subject matter. Students are instilled with a world view, and are shown their role and ability to affect change.

Our goal is to provide a nurturing and progressive academic structure wherein the student can grow their mind and spirit.
